Network Infrastructure

Nokia’s Network Infrastructure group is at the heart of a revolution to bring more and faster network capacity to people worldwide through our ambition, innovation, and technical expertise.
The team you will be a part of
You will work in NI (Network Infrastructure) Americas Business Operation within the RBC (Regional Business Center) IP & ON.
In particular, you will work in delivering Optics (DWDM) Projects to our clients and in this role you will have the opportunity to interact with all sectors of Nokia.
It is a challenging job with a lot of responsibility.
What you will learn and contribute to
As part of the team, you will: deploy, transform, and expand new Optical DWDM Networks for Nokia customers in Latin America.
As part of our team, you will:
- Lead DWDM Optical Network deployment projects.
- Define and execute a Project Schedule that meets customer needs.
- Coordinate technical teams deploying, expanding and transforming Optical Networks for customers in Latin America.
- Interact with different areas and teams within NOKIA,
such as Network Design, Commissioning, Support, and Deployment Delivery to ensure the project execution on time.
- Closely Interact with Customers, PMs, and the Commercial team on the project follow-up reporting.
- Develop partners and providers when needed for a given region or project.
Your skills and experience
You have:
- Electronic or Telecommunications Engineer Degree or alike
- 06 years´ experience working with DWDM Networks, fiber optics networks and transport technologies.
- At least 02 year´s experience leading and executing Telecommunications projects.
- Strong communications skills, customer oriented.
- Experience using Project Management tools
- Advanced Level of English (able to read and speak)
It would be nice if you also had:
- Experience leading multidisciplinary teams
- Project Management - PMI certification
- Knowledge on IP Networks and Routing Protocols (OSPF)
- Linux/Unix OS Basic understanding.
