**Main O**bjecti**v**e of t**h**e **P**osi**t**ion**
Lead a high-performing team and driving improvements in strategy and operations, including Management of Orders, Inventory, Foreign Trade, among others.
**M**ain **T**as**k**s**
- Have a solid understanding of order management, supply planning, and inventory management for specific businesses / locations. Be able to do global inventory checks and understand how to track / follow material movements in SAP.
- Periodically participate in meetings with businesses to review performance and discuss opportunities for improvement.
- Responsible for employee development, hiring process and strategic planning.
- Lead performance feedback of team members.
Monitor employees’ performance and provide / obtain support to ensure business requirements are being met.
- Build team spirit and resolve conflicts.
- Plan and control budget of approx. US 2.5 million identifying the needs of process improvement, providing investments for the training and qualification of the team
- Cultivate positive interactions with teammates, customers, global colleagues, and other internal partners to make appropriate decisions, remove obstacles that may impact BASF’s ability to satisfy demands, and provide streamlined communication on order status.
- Address requirements for change, drive the change, ensuring business continuity.
- Bring innovation to operations through digital and state of the art initiatives.
- Provide strict compliance with the company's quality, safety, health and environment standards and procedures, in accordance with the company's Code of Conduct, as well as its Values and Principles.
**M**ini**m**um **E**d**u**cation and **Q**u**alifica**t**ion **R**e**q**ui**r**ements for **t**he **P**osition**
- University Degree in Foreign Trade, Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement or similar.
- Working Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience on leadership positions.
- Supply Chain and strong experience in Import/Export operations.
- Excellent leadership skills, entrepreneurial thinking, and great communication.
- Service Provider Management: experience on working with external providers creating a jointly vision and commitment of targets to be achieved.
- Ability to communicate (verbal and written) in Spanish (Advanced), English (Advanced) and Portuguese (Intermediate or Advanced).
