**Main Objective of the Position**:
Supply Chain Senior Expert Manager position to lead 20 senior and experienced professionals. The team functions are distributed as transportation/import/export functional experts, business experts, supply chain consultants, data analytics & performance specialists. Scope of this function is for Americas with focus in US, Mexico and Brasil. This manager will report to the Supply Chain Services Americas head. Responsible for guide his team to provide efficiencies in operations, implement digital solutions, process optimization and bringing savings to BASF. Coach and enable team members to manage customer relationship successfully while ensuring a high level of customer focus.
Guarantee knowledge management across supply chain services Americas team.
**Main Tasks**:
- Lead a multidisciplinary team composed by functional experts, business experts, supply chain consultants, excellence & performance specialists.
- Encourage the team to challenge current processes to implement solutions aiming to provide efficiencies in operations, execution times reduction and reducing costs.
- Increase entrepreneurial thinking within the organization by proposing actions, adding value to the service recipients.
- Promote and lead cross functional discussions to drive excellence in services.
- Be the example in encouraging the “out of the box” thinking to foster innovation.
- Coach and enable team members to manage customer relationship successfully while ensuring a high level of customer focus.
- Guarantee knowledge management for the Supply Chain Services Americas team.
- Harmonize processes, adding value to GB and BUs, bringing savings to the company.
- Draw, develop,
and implement continuous improvement and digital solution based on benchmarking with other HUBs.
- Build effective working relationships across functions and businesses, participating in regional supply chain communities.
**Minimum Education and Qualification Requirements for the Position**:
- **
Education**:Business Management, Engineer, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Projects.
- ** Working Experience**:+5 years in Supply Chain, Logistics, Projects.
- ** Language Skills**:Proficiency in Fluent English, Advanced Spanish, and English.
- ** Technical Skills**:+ 5years of experience in continuous improvement and optimization in supply chain and logistics. Desired experience in operations.
- ** Soft Skills**:Leadership,
High level of problem-solving skills, Commitment for continuous improvement, Resilience, Work under pressure, Interpersonal relationship, Verbal/written clear and direct communication, Negotiation_._
- ** Leadership Experience**:_+_5 years of leadership in operations. Supply Chain, Operations Planning, Warehouse, Transport.
- ** Project Experience**:_+_2 years in project management in Supply Chain fields.
- ** Tools & Technology skills**:Desired experience in PMI, PMP, Microsoft Project, PowerBI, Tableu, PowerApps, Powe Automate, Excel.
